Postdoctoral Fellow positions in Clinical Neuroimaging
We are actively seeking Postdoctoral Fellows to join the Clinical Neuroimaging Insights in Neurodegenerative Diseases Laboratory at the Institute for Medical Imaging Technology (IMIT), Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.
The lab’s mission is to deepen the understanding of the underlying brain mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases, and contribute to early detection of these conditions. Using multimodal neuroimaging techniques (e.g., MRI, fMRI, PET, DTI), we aim to map neural circuits targeted throughout the disease continuum, with a particular focus on early disease phases and their relationships with clinical variables.
The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in novel clinical research projects focused on patients with neurodegenerative diseases (e.g., Alzheimer’s disease, Frontotemporal dementia, Parkinson’s disease). They will employ multimodal neuroimaging methods and statistical analyses, including machine learning algorithms, to characterize brain alteration patterns in patients. Our overarching goal is to identify novel and comprehensive neuroimaging biomarkers for early disease detection, disease progression monitoring and prediction, and disentangling disease heterogeneity.
This position provides an exciting opportunity to work with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, including researchers, clinicians, and engineers, united by their shared interest in neurodegenerative diseases and neuroimaging.
We are seeking individuals who are passionate, motivated, and possess curiosity and critical thinking skills. The ideal candidates can work both independently and collaboratively. All qualified candidates will be considered without regard to age, sex, gender identity, or disabled status.
